Yaesu FT-107M
The Yaesu FT-107M is a multiband amateur radio pre-DSP Digital Signal Processing 1980’s amateur band Transciever supporting 10–160 meters (does support the WARC bands TX disabled in early models). FT-107 supports SSB, CW, AM, and FSK modes; all HF bands have a maximum 100 watt RF output. Frequency tuning via a six digit display allowing up to 12 memory channels plus Digital Memory Shift (Memory unit optional). Accessories include a 2 meter/70 cm transverter, internal or external power supplies, a liner amp, several different microphones, 6khz AM filter, 600 Hz CW filter, and an external analog VFO.
The FT-107s are commonly noted for having an unusual (for amateur radio equipment) cream color (also grey models where available), and amber LED lit dials. The Yaesu FT-107 requires 10 – 15 minutes for receive to stabilize and may drift 100 kHz per hour depending on operations and environmental conditions. Due to age, and numbers produced, they are becoming very uncommon but still quite desirable and have been held to be an excellent value in amateur radio equipment.
Listed are the accessory components for the Yaesu FT-107 Transceiver:
